Prevention of Violence against Children and Young People (pvac)

- Strengthening families’ capabilities through positive parenting and improved spousal relationships to create safe and nurturing environments for children and young people. We also increase access to financial services to help reduce the financial stress within families that can escalate violence against children and young people.

- In schools, students, non-teaching staff, and teachers are provided with the necessary skills and knowledge to create environments free from all forms of violence, including bullying, corporal punishment, and inappropriate relationships with staff, to help facilitate successful learning.

- In the community, safe spaces are created for young people who are not in school to come together and acquire life and income-generating skills, thereby equipping them with skills and knowledge for preventing and addressing violence and sexual violence.
IN NUMBERS FROM 2021 T0 2023:

Children participated in weekly child-led activities, conducted in schools and aimed at strengthening safe school environments, free from violence.
